Find your best eyebrow shape.

Sorry for the lack of updates due to my hectic scheduled lately, I haven't been to really sit down for making a post to my blog... well, may be just a short one a week ago. ha! And....I has fallen sick again. I haven been so sick since a year ago when I first blog-ed about my experience in food poisoning, which was an accident. lol! After a year now I caught high fever.. I guess it was due to the haze plus hot weather and lacking of drinking plenty of water. My High fever is now gone but I am still suffer from coughing.. non-stop from day to night. This could be making me insomnia.. feeling like forever! I'm so tired T.T
Speaking about sick, I went to Redbox Karaoke last Thursday as planned two weeks ago and it was probably two days after my recovery from fever. Yea I still got my voice and my cough was not serious at all.. just a pale looking kind of face that's all. teehee! So, when I thought I am the strongest woman on earth(wtf)  and apparently I lost my voice the next day and my throat getting worst. lololll
Okay, so sorry for out of the topic because the main post for today was not about my sickness.

Today in this post I was actually will be doing some review about products that I'm using for my eyebrows.
I am so obsessed with good looking brows that even if I don't have any make up on my face, I still make sure that at least my brows are drawn!

Few years ago on my younger age, I started shaping eyebrows my own when I was 16 by learning from the internet.(this is so wrong..I should seek for the professionals) Once I've had this thin Japanese kind of eyebrow that were so trendy many years ago. hahahha I'm actually digging out some old photos of mine to show you.. Yea you can laugh as I laughed even louder. lololl! photos since 2009-2010 if im not mistaken. Oh god.

As you can see, I got the thin high-arched brows last time. This kind of eyebrow aren't always the ideal as it depend on your face shape. So it doesn't really suitable for me as my brows are making my face shape looking even longer and I look older. This shows that eye brows can either make or break your entire look, with so many options of  brows: thick, thin, arched, straight... but how do you know which brow is right for you? well, it is very best to know what type of face shape do you have before starting to shape your virgin eyebrows.

I can't even remember from when.. Korean make-up was so popular till now. People started to learn how they make-up, and most of the celebrities you see have natural straight brows which I am so obsesses with. I thought I would get my thin brow out asap since bold eyebrows seems to be the new trend. It is so hard for me to grow my full brows and it took me few months struggling from messy brows and like finally it's about time! lolll! Now I believe how beauty comes with a price

As I mentioning, the wrong size brow or badly drawn can just ruin your entire look. Eyebrows frame your face just as your hair does, so it is important to get it right! Generally your natural shape is the one for your face, however even this general rule can sometimes be wrong. =(

Above is a picture of what kind of brow shape you should be aiming for determining on what type of face shape you have.
I know sometimes it is hard to determining the shape..It took me for a long time of knowing my face shape as well. If you are not sure, look in the mirror and compare with one of these drawings, you may find that your face is combination but pick the more obvious shape if that’s the case.

I myself have a long faced shape bordering on heart... soft angled brows are more suitable for me. Once you have decided what shape your face is, you can look at the best shape eye brows for your face. so let's play around and see what you'll find:)

Moving on with products which I using for my eyebrows. I'm not showing how I draw my brows as there are so many tutorials all over the internet and also in Youtube. I learned from there as well.:)

SO, These are my eyebrow products. XD one...two..three.. seven of it! lol wtf. It's like I'm changing colour each and everyday. Well, almost. At least the 7th is a colouring. So apparently I only have Six! lol

1) Elysyle eyebrow pencil is the most darker colour among all. It is easily to colour but one thing that it needs to be sharpen. Mostly I use this to draw the outline or to colour at the end of my brow as I have this kind of short brows.=( And when you feeling to have a dark coloured brow like Cara Delivinge, you should try this. Dark but not black.

2) Eyebrow pencil from the Night Market which only RM5. The cheapest eyebrow pencil I owned. I saw this pencil while I was passing by at a stall and I thought I would give it a try to see the results. hahhaha! As in my expectation, the colour is hard to apply by I must pressing down hard to my brow.. for easily to colour I have to apply moisturizer on my brow but it came out a little bit greasy after awhile and the colour wont stay longer! This truly proof that what you pay for is what you get.;P

3) Kate lasting eyebrowW(BR-1) has a contouring pencil & blending powder for naturally thick eyebrows! It has the fine square cut eyebrow pencil can be used to create fine or bold lines while the eyebrow powder sponge tip can be used to create double effect! The colour works well especially for blonds.

4) Miss Hana from Beaute Story I'm using light brown colour. As I knowing that Miss Hana are so popular amongst Taiwan, one thing I like about it is that it does not create harsh lines and it doesn't need to be sharpen. It comes with a cute little eyebrow spool for blending. I would highly recommend this product to those who are looking to create a soft and natural brow. Also I love their cute packaging!

5) Cyber colour Auto eyebrow pen is quite easy to colour.. you can just twist and use, without the need of sharpening the tip.The color is quite lasting as well. I had the code 05 which is dark brown. It's user friendly and I think this is good for those beginners who do not wish to mess up with brows too much.

6) Stila Stay All Day Waterproof brow colour is the most among all brands that I love! it has a very natural finish and it is so easy to apply with a very light hand! I've been using it for so long I can speak that it doesn't smudge easily and it will dries out quickly once you draw. The colour stays on all day long, no matter what you do and it stays really natural.  I bought it in the medium colour and it's perfect. No red tones, and it's not too dark either. The little brush is very thin and narrow and works beautifully. Definitely recommended!

7) Kiss Me Heavy Rotation- Colouring Eyebrow I just recently bought this eyebrow mascara from sasa because I'm back to light colour hair again. Been using this few years ago and I love it! The colour was actually quite matching with my recent hair colour. Also it is high resistance to sweat, water, and sebum, while still easy for make-off cleansing. Plus it can be use for a long time! I remember the last time I bought it can last me for a year!(mentioning about applying probably 3-4days a week) lol!

This picture I'd posted in my Instagram last year. See how natural my brows using Stila.

Heavy looking bold eyebrows using Elysyle.

Natural Brows using Miss Hana.

Using Kate+Coloring brow.

Using Cyber Colour+Stila+Colouring Eyebrow. I found out those mixture of brows really long lasting for going out from morning till night.

Just a short reminder: Never get a totally black brow pencil, when you colour your brows with that, you are going to look like a monster. Usually, its best to have a professional get them done for you the very first timeIf you can't do this on your own, seek for professionals help. =)

Hopefully this post have helped you find the best brows for your face shape and hope you like the products review.

Lastly, Thank God. Glad that I'm grown up now. hahhahah!
